TuneToad was created for lots of different kinds of people. First There are those who want to show their musical and artistic talents to the world without worrying about having to wait in lines, set up meetings that never happen or send in recordings that will never get heard. At TuneToad people really are watching and who knows, you really could become famous. Second There are those who just need a place to post their videos for their friends and family, and want to use TuneToad to meet and interact with new cool people. Third There are the music fans that love hearing raw untapped talent.

We encourage everyone to post as many videos as you want and to interact with our community. We only ask that in every video you provide, unless you are making a video reply, that some sort of singing, playing musical instruments etc. is included

Here are some commonly asked questions:

1. Can I post videos that we recorded at a concert?

Answer: Maybe. We do not participate in any form of copyright infringement so it must be filmed with permission from the artist. Videos should be limited to only unsigned artists, new artists or artists that are with a label that need more exposure. So if the group or individual is a part of a major label and are already being blasted all over the media, please refrain from posting this material. There are enough sites featuring hugely famous artists videos. We want to help realtively unknown artists get their big break. Furthermore, we have the right to delete any video posted that features a famous artist unless already approved by TuneToad.com. We want everyone to be happy and get the exposure they need, and to do this we will uphold the rules of this policy strictly.

2. Can I talk on my video?

Answer: Yes. Just please have some of the video contain a musical performance of some sort, either singing or playing an instrument.

3. Will music industry executives and talent agents really be looking at the videos on TuneToad?

Answer: Yes. We have many contacts in the music industry that will be watching our videos. The purpose of TuneToad is to provide artists a way to avoid sending in their recordings and then playing the waiting game to hear something, or waiting in long lines at tryouts. The music industry gets so many requests of new emerging artists it is easy to get lost in the wake of the masses. Here you can put yourself on a stage that people will be watching. Infact, we highly anticipate that someone will become famous from posting their videos with us. It could be you!
